Bittersweet is sweet!

On new years eve 2009, I got to go to a ski resort called bittersweet. I went with my dad, my aunt and uncle, my brother Luke (13), my cousin Jessica (14), and my cousin Amanda (16). I got to snowboard down the speedy slopes. Funny story. during all the fun I decided to go on the bigger hill. So I climbed up the hill, strapped myself in, and waited to go down. All of a sudden I started moving. I found out someone pushed me down the hill and my board was facing sideways as I was running over other people down the hill. when I got it under control that was the embarrassing part. I ran into the toddler hill and did a face plant. Turned out Luke was the person who pushed me. I was cold! But in all, it was fun!

Downtown Days!

Okay, this week was probably one of the most fun week of my fifth grade experience. The fifth grade classes get to go to Downtown Holland to see some of the history in Holland and the current things. Its called Downtown Discovery Days. Its a two day thing. We left the day that the fourth graders left for Mackinac Island and the third graders left for Meijer Gardens. Long day! We got to go to the police station, the scrap yards, (padnos), we even got to see what happens when you freeze a bouncy ball, (it exploded). I hope some other people out there get to do Downtown Days.

S'morey's Days In Michigan

On December 27, 2008, A sock monkey named S'morey began an exiting adventure in Michigan he will never forget. First S'morey and everyone went to see downtown Holland and go shopping. We even stopped at the candy store. Next we went to an Irish pub for dinner called The Curraugh. S'morey had a great time. The next day we went to go see the big lighthouse called The Big Red. It was freezing! Then we went to my grandparents house to have brunch and go sleding. It was fun! Today was our last day though. But S'morey had fun!

Seymour Saves The Day

Yesterday, at twelve o' clock in the afternoon, The wonder pug from the planet earth,(Seymour), saved a falling truck from crushing 3 citizens and a car trying to crash into a building. The man driving the car was then arrested and put in jail for 5 years. Seymour then said, it's just what I do. It's my job. But Seymour was almost killed by a bullet. Seymour got hit but, not in the head or heart. She got hit in the right leg. She was fine after 3 weeks in the hospital but a villain named Shred escaped from prison and returned to mischief. Seymour went to Shred and fought him to protect the city and the people. She won and Shred got put in the best prison in the Continent. Seymour was a hero. But at the last second Shred said, ''I will get you Seymour! That's a promise!''

Christmas Morning

On Christmas morning, we got up to go to the Christmas tree to look for gifts and Santa surprises. There were so many gifts to open including a new golf bag with golf clubs for my brother and I. We had our grandparents from Ocala, Florida stay for Christmas and in a couple hours New Years. My brothers favorite gift was a 55 to 250 mm zoom lens. Mine was a Lego airplane that even had the grounds crew. It was awesome!

Going To Maui

About three years ago my family and I went to Maui, Hawaii for a vacation. We had so much fun. We even saw whales jump out of the water. There was a pizza place called The Best Pizza in Maui. It is delicious. We went snorkeling. The flight was 9 and 1/2 hours long and the food was bad though. It still was awesome!

Going To San Fran

In 2000, my family and I went to San Fransisco for my aunts wedding. We had so much fun because we got to go on boat rides and go across the Golden Gate Bridge along with the trolley rides to the outer suburbs of the city. the fun part was eating the food. OH the food was delicious. There was good seafood and grill restaurants everywhere you look. San Fransisco is Awesome!

New York Earns Me

About two years ago, My brother was going to Mackinac Island for a fourth grade field trip. I was only in second grade so I was kind of jealous. But one early morning, the day of Luke's trip, my parents woke me up at four o' clock. And I remember saying, ''school already!'' My dad said, ''no, you and I are going to Manhattan in New York!'' It was a total surprise! The flight to New York was two hours long. When we landed in LaGuardia airport in New York we headed strait to our hotel. When my brother found out I was going to Manhattan, he was jealous. But my mom went with my brother to Mackinac Island. We had so much fun together. We even went to the Empire State building and saw the American Idol Finale while eating pizza in our hotel room! It was the best vacation ever

Seymour Wins The Election

On November 4, 2008, Seymour won the election with 387 electoral votes to John MC Cain and Barrack Obama. In her words she says ''We will work on friendship and Health Care. We are trying to start a new leaf in partnership and equality. And I hope we can be strong and Patient because the cure is coming. We will live a fun and happy life if we can look to the future. And As I stand here today I will just say that this madness is over!'' I think Seymour has made history.

Our Dog Peyton

I have a new exiting friend named Peyton who is a golden retriever. She is in an organization called paws with a cause which is a program that helps disabled peaple. She got her name from the football player Peyton Manning. She is only 11 months old. But we need to turn her loose, in March. But we still have good news, she is taking off a new program which you dont need to train her. She will work with kids who have Autisum. She just needs to be someone's best friend and get attentionn. She is so sweet.

Our Cousin Amanda

About 2 days ago, My cousin Amanda and her parents came from Sparta, NC. She just got a new dog named Riley who is 3 and a 1/2 weeks old. Shes so cute! we are having fun so far. I wish they could live here. They're awesome!

A Wonderful Pet

I have a wonderful friend who I have had for 8 and 1/2 years. Her name is Seymour. She is my favorite stuffed animal. She has a friend named Smorey who is 2 and 1/2 years old. Airplanes

I have loved planes for my whole life. I have a game called Flight Simulator 2004. It is a fun game that you can fly airplanes and teaches you how to fly. I've had it sense I was 7 years old. I LOVE AIRPLANES!

My Older Brother

I have 1 brother named Luke who just made a trip to Paris, France for his twelfth birhday! How exiting! He loves to eat pizza. He plays the piano and he started 3 years ago. when he grows up he wants to be a photoagrapher.
